Leveling & XP System

Reward active members with XP and levels. Set up level roles, customize XP rates, and create a competitive leaderboard for your community.

Overview

The leveling system tracks member activity and rewards engagement with XP points. As members earn XP, they level up and can unlock special roles and perks.

Earning XP

Members earn XP by being active in your server. Here's how XP is calculated:

Messages

Earn XP for each message sent (with cooldown).

• 15-25 XP 60s cooldown

Voice Chat

Earn XP for time spent in voice channels.

• 5 XP/min Requires 2+ users

Booster Bonus

Server boosters earn bonus XP on all activities.

• +50% XP Always active

XP Formula

The XP required to reach each level follows this formula:

XP = 5 × (level²) + 50 × level + 100

Level Roles

Automatically assign roles when members reach certain levels. This is a great way to reward active members with special perks!

Setting Up Level Roles

Level roles are configured on the dashboard. Open your server, go to Levels, and add a reward under Role Rewards: pick the level and the role to grant when a member reaches it.

There is also a Remove previous role on level up option, so members either collect every rank role or only ever hold their current one.

Role Options

• Stack Roles Keep all previous level roles when leveling up.
• Replace Roles Remove previous level role when earning a new one.

Configuration

Leveling is configured entirely from the dashboard, under Levels. There is no slash command for these settings.

Setting	What it controls
Enabled	Turns XP tracking on or off for the server
Level-up message	Whether a message is posted, and the text it uses
Announcement channel	Where level-up messages are sent
Role rewards	Which role is granted at which level
Remove previous role	Whether an earned rank role replaces the last one
No-XP channels	Channels where messages earn no XP
No-XP roles	Roles whose members earn no XP

The same page controls the look of the rank card and the leaderboard: background image, accent, text, border, progress bar and badge colours.
